Artist's Comments

Getting a half-way decent picture of a TALENT of the Euregiobahn is oddly difficult. A few of them are marked with Graffiti, it's not often good weather around here, and mostly, those things are extremely shiny, so there's always some sort of glare. This picture worked out better than most, I think, but I still want to get something better.

643 226/726 (the 7.. is just the second of the two parts) is heading out of Aachen main station without passengers and with a blank destination sign. No idea what it was supposed to do. Possibly another unit got stuck and now has to be towed, I don't know.

What you probably don't see here very well is that 226/726 got farther along the road to being a streetcar than most others of it's kind, with additional blinkers and markings that look as if someone had installed rear view mirrors once and then removed them again. If you're interested I can post some detail shots.

Verdammt, bei dem Titel hätte ich schon glatt erwartet, dass du ne saubere 101 erwischt hättest :XD: Bei mir sind es in der Regel Lichtverhältnisse, die ein schönes Portrait verhindern, denn da Kapituliert meine Kamera sofort. Entweder unterbelichtet mit Blitz, oder bis zum gehtnichtmehr verwackelt ohne.

Tja, ich fotographier ja fast nur Züge oder sonstwie draußen, da brauch einen Blitz ja gar nicht auszuprobieren. Aber irgend wann, wenn ich mal groß bin, will ich ein Stativ für gute Aufnahmen am Abend...

Saubere 101: Wenn ich eine Sehe werde ich das sofort posten, aber ich glaube die sind seltener als die 110. Die kommt jetzt planmäßig übrigens nicht mehr nach Aachen :(

Mit Blitz meinte ich genauer gesagt eigentlich Aufnahmen am Abend. Im Wintersemester hab ich noch öfters 110er gesehen, aber die Bilder sind alle nichts geworden. Entweder sieht man nichts, oder alles verwackelt. Nen Stativ wollte ich mir auch mal holen, genauer gesagt nen gorillapod, aber ich kann mich im Moment nicht dazu bewegen, Geld auszugeben.

110er sehe ich im Moment nur eine Handvoll. In Duisburg scheint die 493-4 immer mal mit der RB aus Wesel vorbeizukommen, jedenfalls hab ich die schon öfters gesehen. In Düsseldorf hab ich heute auch ne 115 gesehen, aber leider nur aus der Ferne, stand mit nem AutoZug da. Tja, die alten werden immer seltener. Bald kommen vier 110er beim Bender an, da muss ich mich wohl ranhalten ^^
