Artist's Comments

The Brocken line is a simple branch line from Drei Annen Hohne up to the Brocken, and never had any real economic importance. However, it’s touristic value is enormous, since it’s the fastest, most convenient and of course most stylish way to get up there. Here, a long additional train is making it’s way downwards, over Drei Annen Hohne’s main street.
This is the last picture (from this trip) where the steam locomotive points the wrong way around, all of the others I want to post have the boiler facing forward.

Klasse Aufnahme! Ein Bildaufbau ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Der unscharfe Baumstamm rechts sorgt für jede Menge Spannung. Tolle Perspektive auch mit den Gleisen und der S-Kurve. Und man sieht, wie gut sich die weiße Dampffahne vor den Bäumen im Hintergrund hervorhebt. Einfach wunderschön!

Wenn ich was mag, tue ich's kund. Wenn mir was nicht gefällt, nenne ich's auch beim Namen aber halt so höflich wie es geht.

Und ob meine Bilder gut sind... das ist Geschmackssache. Einige mögen meinen Stil nicht, aber es freut mich zu erfahren, dass manche, wie eben Du, meine Fotos mögen. :)
