Next to Wernigerode's West Gate (Westerntor), there is an intersection between Ilsenburger Straße/Salzbergstraße and Westernstraße/Friedrichstraße. Additionally, the minor streets An der Malzmühle and Unter den Zindeln also branch off right there. And a small river is in the area. But roughly twice per hour, all that is irrelevant, as the HSB crosses diagonally through the entire mess of streets, slowly and with absolute priority over everything else. With a choice of interesting backgrounds, I really like this as a photo location.
