I have to admit that I kind of like this picture. It's not perfect, sure (all the brownery in the foreground is a little distracting) and possibly too similar to another one, but the basic idea of a fully active steam locomotive from slightly below worked out much better than I had hoped.

99 7232 is pulling an empty train up to the Brocken, which had arrived from there a little before that.

Its a shame you dont get more steam trains running in the winter (well here in the UK anyway, and you so rarely get the chance to see them in snow like this!) as the weather conditions always make the pics so dramatic...
