Yesterday, it snowed, so today I jumped in my car and drove down the B 6n to Wernigerode (Germany), to take pictures of the steam locomotives of the Harzer Schmalspurbahn (HSB).
And there, I really froze my behind off, since not a whole lot is happening during the winter months at the HSB. The winter timetable focuses heavily on trains from Drei Annen Hohne to the Brocken, and leaves very little on the rest of the network. After arriving at the West gate of Wernigerode (in German: Westerntor. That's also the name of the station from which this train had just left), I had to wait for an hour until this train passed by. I do like the resulting picture, though.
