I know, some will probably hate me for posting old electrics and modern diesels first, instead of steam, but those are machines I never took a picture of before, while 50 3708 lives in Halberstadt and is seen more or less often in the Harz region. This is not the first time I photographed it. As far as I know, it has never ever been used on the Rübelandbahn. Yesterday it ran between Blankenburg and Halberstadt all day.

Ist diese Strecke 1000 mm oder 1435 mm?
Die Rübelandbahn hier ist 1435 mm. 1000 mm ist das Netz der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen, die aber keine Verbindung mit der Rübelandbahn haben.

Danke. Die Tramstrecken in Heidelberg sind 1.000 mm, und die Lokomotive hier sieht zu breit für eine 1.435mm Bahn...

Well, it's a preserved museum engine, so it's only used for special trains. It does get around doing that, though.

Yay, a BR50... :) I've always had an Interest in German Steam Locomotives, they Rival American Locomotives Pretty well in Engineering... :D
